[...] From time to time, I have posted favorable reviews of our bands, but today I would like to share with you a really rad email from a Suburban Home supporter. As much as music reviews are nice, it is so much rewarding hearing from actual music fans. Lee Roehrig has become one of our biggest supporters. He made a Dead Format Mix CD as well as contributed to our Absolutely Essential albums on Dead Format. Lee just wrote an email after receiving his pre-order for the Drag the River “Closed” and Love Me Destroyer “The Things Around us Burn” CDs. It is a rather long email so you will need to click the link to read the entire email. It is a great read. Thanks Lee for all of your support. Your email was a great way to start my Tuesday: [...]

I couldn't agree with this more. American Steel helped shape my musical tastes throughout high school and I still listen to them at least once or twice a week.

Rory's lyrics are simply amazing and here is a fine example:

i'm your cold sweat epiphanies
you're my red wine soliloquies
so please

c'est la vie
save me
c'est la vie mon amie
save me for a rainy day
a rainy day
