Propagandhi play a benefit show for the Grassy Narrows First Nation Blockade and the International Solidarity Movement at the Zoo (the venue, not the animal prison) in Winnipeg, Canada in 2003. Set features songs from all their full-length records in addition to some rare cover tunes along with early incarnations of tracks from Potemkin City Limits, released 2 years later. Show is videotaped by crowd members and recorded and mixed by the band. Band intends DVD release to raise further money to sustain the Grassy Narrows Blockade and the Middle East Children’s Alliance, which the band consider to be interconnected issues. DVD extras include the full-length documentary film Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land, the independently produced documentary As Long As the Rivers Flow: the story of the Grassy Narrows Blockade, a ridiculous commentary track by Chris Hannah of Propagandhi and Derek Hogue of G7 Records, and photo galleries.

Two Cow Garage “III” CD

Two Cow Garage’s new full-length recording, III, presents theband’s continued progression. While retaining the high octanerock of their previous releases, it’s not difficult to appreciate theband’s maturation both lyrically and musically. While a departureto some degree, expect existing fans to love it, and new fans tobe drawn in.
