Another Sale! 10 Compilation CDs for $10.00

10 Compilation CDs for $10.00 Sale

The Cheapo CD sampler quickly rose to power during the mid 90’s. Labels like Fat, Epitaph, Victory, Asian Man, and Hopeless were well known by their branded cheapo sampler as it was the best way to find out about new acts. Even labels like Suburban Home got in on the craze and at one time, we sold quite a few compilation CDs. We had a series called Playing 4 Square which I thought was a pretty cool idea as it was a 4 way label sampler featuring tracks from 4 up and coming indie labels. The 3 volumes we did featured tracks from acts as varied as Lagwagon, New Found Glory, Jealous Sound, No Knife, Communique, Ted Leo and the Pharmicists, Rx Bandits, Rainer Maria, The STarting Line, Brackit, Armchair Martian, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes all made appearances on the series.

Fast forward to 2007 and compilation CDs just don’t have the same power they once did. With myspace and mp3s on label sites, you can find out about bands very easily. But trust me when I say that in the mid to late 90’s you would look forward to new compilation CDs as it was assured that you would find a song by a band you have never heard and that would inspire you to find their release.

Take a trip back in time with me and take advantage of this incredible deal. Just the fact that you will be getting 10 CDs for $10 is pretty amazing. Then think about the number of tracks, 329, which would cost you an arm and a leg on most digital destinations. The samplers featured in this sale represent a small part of indie history and a bit portion of Suburban Home’s past. This sale features Suburban Home’s very first CD we ever released, the compilation “Punk, It’s All About the Orchis Factor”. Yes, I realize it is a dumb name, but it is still a fun listen. The 10 Compilation CDs will feature 10 of the following 13 possibilities:

Amp Magazine Presents Presents Vol 1 Hardcore
Amp Magazine Presents Presents Vol 2 Street Punk
Amp Magazine Presents Volume 3: Metal
Amp Magazine Presents Volume 4: Pop-Punk
Broken Lamps and Hardcore Memories
Broken Lamps and Hardcore Memories vol 2
NO-FI TRASH CD compilation
PLAYING 4 SQUARE 1
PLAYING 4 SQUARE 2
PLAYING 4 SQUARE 3
Punk, It’s All About the Orchis Factor
RITALIN RIOT 2 COMPILATION CD
Ritalin Riot CD compilation

We will pick the CDs that go into the sale, but if you already have a couple, feel free to email us and we will make special note of your order. Media Mail shipping in the states will cost you only $3.00 more. International orders if you are ok without having Jewel Cases, we will send your order Global Priority for only $10.00.

Enjoy a nice batch of time capsules with this sale.

Suburban Home’s Pick any 5 CDs for $25.00 sale

Suburban Home Pick 5 CDs for $25 Sale

It is harder now trying to sell compact discs than it has ever been. Running a label in the post-file sharing world is not an easy task. There are entire generations of music fans that don’t consider music to have any monetary cost. Where will that leave labels like Suburban Home in the future? Anyone’s guess is as good as mine, but while Suburban Home still has some life in it, it only makes sense to attempt to adapt considering the current market conditions. We have always tried to have an inexpensive option to purchase our music and if you were to order any Suburban Home full length directly from us, you will never pay more that $8.99.

Although we consider this to be a rather good deal, we realize that it is impossible to compete with FREE. That considered, we are now offering any 5 Suburban Home releases (and some non-suburban home releases) for the low price of $25.00(whiskey is not included). That is only $5.00 per album and when you compare that to $13 to $16 bucks at a mall or chain store, that is a hell of a price. Understand that purchasing Suburban Home titles goes to help us and our bands out which doesn’t happen when you file-share or copy music.
Shipping: We have inexpensive shipping options for US and worldwide customers. $3.00 for media mail in the U.S. and $10.00 for Global Priority (without jewel cases) worldwide.

Follow these simples steps:

  1. Pick 5 CDs (the entire list is below, no duplicates please)
  2. Purchase this sale by adding it to your cart and paying for it.
  3. Email the 5 releases you want to info@suburbanhomerecords.com.
  4. Enjoy 5 radical discs when they are delivered to your front door.

New Sale - Suburban Home Pint Glass set only $10.00!

SH Pint Glass set (Drag the River,Tim Barry,Love Me Destroyer, + Ghost Buffalo)

For a very short time (maybe only 1 week), we are selling you the Suburban Home Pint Glass set for $10.00. The price is normally $20, but the pint glasses take up a lot of room and we need to clear out the boxes before our big move. As the photo suggests, you get 4 pint glasses which includes designs by Drag the River, Tim Barry, Love Me Destroyer, and Ghost Buffalo. We only have around 30 full sets left so I expect these to go rather quickly. At this point, we are not sure that we will make another batch so you could possibly get 1 of only 100 sets of pint glasses. You will see that the $3.00 all you can ship shipping is not available for this sale as we send the glasses with insurance as there is always that chance that one can break. But media mail shipping is only $6.00 so if you live in the states, you can get an entire set for $16.00 delivered to your house.

Do not snooze on this sale! The glasses are amazing and trust me when I say that beer tastes better out of them and life has been so much better since having some Suburban Home pint glasses!

T-shirt Super Sale part 2 - This one’s for the Ladies!

T-Shirt Super Sale - Women’s Sizes

There are some really cool shirts and you will never find these kinds of deals again. Note that most of the shirts and skirts are American Apparel so make sure you know your size in AA. Good luck. The last sale sold out in like 8 hours so hopefully you get one in time!

10 T-shirts for $20 - T-shirt Super Sale!

10 T-shirts for $20 - T-shirt Super Sale!

We at Suburban Home/Dead Format are doing the unthinkable….Again. This time around, we are making an attempt to get rid of the boxes of t-shirts that crowd our workplace. This deal gets you 10 T-shirts for $20.00! Yes, that’s right, only $2.00 per shirt. The photo that you see is an example of what you will get, but since we have limited supplies of the T-shirts, each order is subject to change. We will be applying the following formula for the T-shirt sale:

  • At least 1 Suburban Home T-shirt
  • At least 2 Suburban Home Band T-shirts
  • At least 1 Blackout Pact T-shirt
  • At least 2 Amp Magazine related T-shirts
  • At least 1 Superfantastic Clothing T-shirt
  • 1 Non-Suburban Home band T-shirt

The way the sale works is pretty simple. You find your T-shirt size (Youth Medium, Youth Large, Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large) and place your order. We do the rest. We promise that there will be some truly rad shirts in this deal, but I am sure that not every t-shirt will make your weekly rotation. At $2.00 per shirt, you really can’t complain. We will not be taking special requests, but there will be some folks who receive shirts by bands such as the Gamits, Mars Volta, Stereotyperider, Against Me, Love Me Destroyer, Rise Against, Drag the River, Curl Up and Die, Ghost Buffalo, Avenged Sevenfold, Quicksand, Atryu, Laymen Terms, Limbeck, Blink 182, and more.

There are only a handful of these t-shirt deals per size so don’t get caught thinking about it. Now that the weather is getting super nice, you can’t afford to miss out on this deal.
